WUOC 2016 Update

The Irish team at the World University Orienteering Championships in Miskolc in Hungary returned with some great results.

One highlight being an excellent 33rd place by Eoin McCullough in the Sprint.

The Irish Team were 18th in the Mixed Sprint Relay. In the Middle Distance race there were some very good results from the Irish runners with Colm Moran in 42nd place and Niamh Corbett in 49th place.

The highlight of the week however was the relay, Ireland were 15th in the Men’s Relay and 16th in the Women’s Relay. Congratulations to both teams on their result.
