WOC 2015 – Middle Distance

Ref. WOC 2015. Middle Distance Selection

The selection policy as published indicated that the selection panel would identify another middle distance event for the selection process. The panel have decided in the absence of an appropriate event the following:

1. The original selection race in Scotland June 2015. 1 automatic selection place for first Irish (male) competitor.
2. The second Middle Distance team position (male) will be based on results at middle distance JK 2015 and Scotland selection race.

The panel apologises for the lateness of this decision but felt it was only fair to all the athletes concerned that this decision was taken in advance of JK 2015, before the selection process commenced.
