Trinity Map Archive update

Hi Folks

It is just five years since we handed over about 1060 paper Orienteering maps to the Glucksman Map Library in Trinity College Dublin. Trinity would welcome an update.

If your club has issued a more modern version of any of the maps on that list please print a copy for collection at either the LOC on April 19th at Lough Firrib or IOC at Slieve Croob etc early in May. Please give them to either Ann O’Sullivan or John McCullagh of 3ROC. I expect to be at Trooperstown on 12th April if that suits anybody better.

Please write the line number from the list and the date issued on the back of the map along with either a lat/lon ref. or Grid ref.

If you have a new map not on the list please supply a paper copy endorsed as above.

I expect to hand over the collected maps to Trinity the week after IOC so would appreciate any assistance you can offer in updating the collection.
