Successful Irish Schools Champs
Midleton CBS took all three titles in the boys’ categories in the Irish Post Primary Schools Orienteering Championships, which were held in Donadea Forest Park, Co. Kildare, while local girl, Deirdre Ni Riain (Gaelscoil Chill Dara), easily retained her title, finishing over 7 mins clear of her next rival. A big thanks to Mary Healy and all her helpers for organising the event. Thank you to the IOA who presented 2 Perpetual plates for the Senior Boys (Midleton CBS) and Senior Girls (Newtown, Waterford).
