Permanent Orienteering Courses

There are a number of permanent orienteering courses around the country, ideal for use by schools, scouts and family groups. These courses maintained by various organisations e.g. Coillte or county councils.

Some venues provide the orienteering map free to download. In other cases there is a small charge and the map is available at the venue. If in doubt contact the venue directly.

We advise a site visit prior to travelling with large groups to ensure that the course has not been adjusted by the venue owner.
