A special moment during the event saw the family of the late Ted Lucey presented with the Spirit of Orienteering Award, recognising Ted’s incredible contribution to our sport over many decades. 💚
In Ted’s honour, Bishopstown Orienteering Club commissioned a new Munster Trophy for the M14 category, celebrating his dedication to supporting and inspiring young orienteers. Alec O’Brien (CorkO) was the first recipient of the trophy.
Munster 21 Elite Champions for 2026 are Eve Buckley (KerryO) & Niall McCarthy (BOC).
Thank you to everyone who made the day such a success, a true celebration of community, competition, and the spirit of orienteering.
