Mick Kellett RIP 26th December 2014

Mick Kellett passed away earlier today at his home in Raheny, Dublin. He will be missed by all in the Orienteering Community. He was a long serving member of Great Eastern Navigators. Mick always gave generously of his time to Orienteering, particularly Schools Orienteering, in the last few years. He was one of the founding members of An Oige Mountain Rescue Team (which later became the Dublin and Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team). Mick was part of the outdoors community in Ireland for many, many years. He was a great character who always enjoyed the social aspect of Orienteering. At this year’s Irish Orienteering Championship in Lough Firrib Mick won the M75 class.  His wife Brenda, his children and grandchildren are in our prayers. May he rest in peace. Funeral arrangements are here.
