Maths and orienteering

Maths and orienteering! Leaving Cert. student and Irish junior squad member Alan Lane was part of the winning Midleton CBS team at the national Team Math final in UCC. Alan competed at EYOC, JEC and JHI in 2008 as an M18.  The team was coached by well-known orienteer Liam O’Brien.   You can read an article about the win from the Irish Times here.
