Major Events Conference 2016

A Major Events Conference will be held on 8 October at the Maldron Hotel, Portlaoise starting at 9.30am. Topics to be covered include reviews of IOC 2016 and the Leinster Three Day, allocation of start times, complaints and protests, appointment of Controllers for major events, and planning championship courses. The  presentation on course planning will be given by Brian Bullen who was the joint planner of the Long Distance Event at WOC 2016 in Scotland, and he has extensive experience of planning and controlling major events.

The course should be of interest to all involved in future major events.
