JWOC Relay
The final race of an intensive week of competition, the JWOC relay, was held on the steep slopes of Tarasp this morning. It demanded strong legs and strong concentration with 59 teams on the startline in the men’s race and 46 teams in the women’s. The Swiss teams proved to be unbeatable once again, winning the men’s by 2 min 28 sec and the women’s by a whole 4 min 53 sec.
The men’s team of Paul, Jonathan and Peter all had good runs to finish 27th overall. Unfortunately the women’s team had only two runners, but were in 24th place after two legs (Roisin on first and Caoimhe on second).

The team would like to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone for their support. We’d especially like to thank Jeni and Nigel Pim for the delicious food that they cooked all week. Thanks :-).
- Everyone is looking forward to the party tonight and onward travel to France and Sweden tomorrow, with JWOC 2017 in Finland already on our minds (http://www.jwoc2017.fi/)!
