JWOC 2022-Part 1: final report

So JWOC 2022 part 1 is over. Everyone had great fun and enjoyed the challenges, the weather, forest race cancellations and the social aspect.
Part one ended with a great party last night and everyone is making their way back to Ireland.
Almost all runners will be heading to the O-Ringen next week. We will meet our newly made friends from all over the world again. It was a bit of a weird feeling to say goodbye and ” see you soon at O-Ringen” in one sentence.
We finished the last day on a high doing some sprint-O, with a mass start for the boys.
We are all looking forward to running the forest races at the begining of November 2022 and to close out JWOC 2022.
As the coach said, Ireland has some unfurnished business!
So let the saga continue and we hope we can count on everyone’s support to get us there.
