Irish show Swedes how it’s done at Oringen

A small group of Irish athletes traveled to Oringen 2015 in Borås, Sweden.

Aoife McCavana (GEN), Clíona McCullough (3ROC / DUO), Niamh Corbett (CorkO / UCDO), and Róisín Long (AJAX / UCDO) all competed in the D20 class at orienteering’s largest event: Oringen.

The girls produced solid results throughout the week, with Niamh Corbett leading the pack, finishing in a fantastic 2nd place after the chasing start, and Róisín Long also finishing in the top 10.

Results Overview:

1) Elena Gurskaia (RUS) 267:50
2) Niamh Corbett (IRL) 275:05
10) Róisín Long (IRL) 297:01
35) Clíona McCullough 352:19

Unfortunately Aoife McCavana mispunched on one of the days, but also had good overall results.
