The competition consists of 4 classes, W16, M16, W18 and M18, and Ireland have sent a team with runners in each class. Today they arrived and will get settled in a few days early with training on the cards ahead of the races which start on Friday morning.

The programme consists of:
Friday: Sprint

Sunday: Relay

The team of juniors representing Ireland:
W16: Caoimhe O’Boyle (CNOC)
M16: Peter Meehan (NWOC), Paul Pruzina (LVO)
W18: Niamh Corbett (CorkO), Roisin Long (AJAX), Aoife McCavana (GEN)

You can follow all the action over the next few days here:

Looks like they’ll  have the opportunity to enjoy the sun after their training and races with their accommodation almost touching the beach, as pictured above!
