IOC 2023 is almost upon us
It is almost time – the Irish Orienteering Championships are all set to kick off with the Sprint event in Glending, Co.Wicklow, tomorrow, Friday 28th April.
With a record entry of well over 500 participants from 14 different countries, a fantastic competition is guaranteed.
We would like to wish all the participants, ages 9 to 90+, the very best in their races over the weekend. And enjoy beautiful Wicklow, the Garden of Ireland, and all that is has to offer.
Ultimately the success of the IOC is down to the hard work of the organising club, undertaken by CNOC this year. It is a huge undertaking for a small club to put on four consecutive days of competition, and we cannot underestimate the work that has gone in to getting us to the start line. Massive CONGRATULATIONS to CNOC and team for putting this championship event together.
See you all tomorrow.
