Women in Orienteering
CALLING ALL FEMALE ORIENTEERS AND FAMILIES…please join us on Monday, 8th March to celebrate International Women’s Day by getting out and orienteering within your 5km radius. You might have a published MapRun6 course near to you that you can run on. You might have a permanent orienteering course within your 5km. If not, you might create your own map and course then have a run on it! We would encourage as many of you as possible to join us on Monday and get out orienteering. While we currently remain apart and cannot hold our regular orienteering events, we hope that we can stay engaged and connected by sharing these virtual courses with the orienteering and sporting community at large. We would love to see our orienteers all across the country taking part and sharing their runs.
