Join us in the Premier County to check out the alleyways of Clonmel town for the Urban series 4 event on Sunday 17th February. 

 

Course lengths (expected winning times per course under 30 minutes)

Long 7.2 km (for the experienced fit orienteers)

Medium 5 km (for experienced orienteers plus adults/juniors who want a good challenge)

Short 1, 2.5 km (a shorter challenge for the less experienced, crosses roads so juniors under 15 must be accompanied) Short 1.5 km ( does not cross roads so suitable for Juniors unaccompanied)

Map scale 1:5,000. Climb insignificant.
Mostly pavement  except some grass at the start and finish so no rubber studs necessary. 

All maps on waterproof paper by BML print (promise no recycled maps! We will cater for the huge numbers we expect!)

 

Start times between 10 and 12 from CBS High school  S205228
Toilets and changing rooms available in the hall adjacent to the start. Early parkers will park adjacent to the start in the school carpark. Later arrivals  may need to park on streets nearby. No parking fees on a Sunday.

Courses close at  13.30. Come early to beat the traffic (even on a Sunday morning).
Controls will be SiAir enabled. Please remember to punch the check control if you wish to use SiAir before you punch the start and do not pass the Finish until the end!
