Does anyone know who maintains or has admin access to the DBN website @ http://dbn.orienteering.ie/ ?

Needs a bit of updating for 2017 (& 2016 while someone is at it).

I have managed a DbN webpage in the past but, since moving to Galway, it\'s hard to keep up.  Would anyone like to voluenteer to manage a page for it?

Well, I didn\'t get any volunteers so here is the 2017 DbN website.  dbn.orienteering.ie/2017 .  There are 5 events scheduled so I have made it the best 3 of 5.

After two events, Angus Tyner is leading Gavin Doherty on the Long and Fergal Buckley is leading Mary O\'Connell on the Short.

A fresh call.

Any interest amongst the forum members to manage the https://dbn.orienteering.ie/ site?
I see 5 Dublin By Night fixtures set for Jan & Feb 2022.
Is the guidance the same as for 2017?

  • There are five events planned.
  • There will be 2 courses - Long and Short.
  • The Long will be as technical as during the day. The short will be a bit easier.
  • Winning times on both courses will be approx. 25 - 40 mins.
  • Your best three results to count for the league.
  • Scoring is based on the Fair Scoring system using IOLeague
  • Start times between approx 6.00 pm and 7.00 pm but you should check the Fixtures list and Forum before each event as they can vary.

Hi Ian,

Only seeing this now - I'll email you directly, be great if you could look after the DBN page?

I understand this weekend's Phoenix Park event may be postponed... awaiting confirmation.

Thanks,
