The Veterans’ Home International 2014 will be run on the Forest of Dean (Mallard’s Pike and Blakeney Hill) in conjunction with the Caddihoe Chase.  The dates are 13^th and 14^th September but will probably require travel on the Friday as they are hoping for an earlier start on Saturday to allow time for sightseeing before the dinner on Saturday evening. The relay will precede the racing start on the Sunday.  Bristol is the nearest airport although the ferry to Pembroke would work for those with time to spare.  Hostel accommodation is available at the Welsh Bicknor Youth Hostel, hopefully with hot water this year.

If you are interested in selection for the VHI team email me asp on hbbaxatbtinternet.com .  All I need is your name and age class at this point.  I would like to have the team selected by July when I need to put in returns for accommodation and food.  If you haven’t run before don’t be shy in putting your name in the hat, it is always a good weekend and offers the chance to run on different terrain.
