I've also had a look at the league standings after 3/5 events (last event with the BBQ isnt counted towards the league - just for fun - best 3 out of the other 5 to count)

So, we'll sort out some prizes for best 3 men and best 3 women on each course - prizegiving at the BBQ in Hollywood

State of play so far:

On the Long: very close at the top for the men - just 400 points separate the top 6 runners, so all to play for there - Ivan Vasilkov currently leading the pack. In the ladies race, Deirdre Coyle is at the head (being the only lady to finish 3 events so far) - Zoe Tyner should jump multiple places however, once she runs her third event.

In the Medium: Brian Farren leading the men (with a very healthy average score of 1315 per race) - lots of runners have yet to complete 3 races. Closer in the ladies race, with Niamh Browne just leading over Orla Church and Aoife Masterson, and several ladies hot on their heels.

On Adventure: Zoe Moppet leads the ladies, but Deirbhile Hasset looks set to take the lead once she runs another race. Her Brother Fionn Hasset has a strong lead on the mens side, despite only having run two events but averaging 1424 points per race (so basically running away with it - literally)
