Notes

SI timing for all courses (SI cards available on the day)

As it is near Christmas we have a fun event to  celebrate this time of  year. As you go up a course level at this event you will get less of a map. At the top level you will have no map at all!

Everyone will do the orange course and this will be on a full map. If you only want to do the orange course,  you finish on that map. However if you want to continue you pick up a red map next !(the clock will still be running).

The red map is only a partial map (Christmas themed of course) and the controls are that little bit harder to find. If you want to stop at the red course,  you finish on that map at the end of your run. However if you want to continue you pick up a Green Map next.(the clock will still be running).

This time you get even less of a map. (Those of you who have done some corridor training will be familiar with the format. )If you want to only  do the green course,  you finish on that map. However if you want a challenge try the final blue course where you don't even get a map (and still the clock will be running). The blue course is a memory map event. At the start you study the map and run to the first control. There you will find the map for the next control.  You can not take the map but have to memorise your route, and so you progress through the course right to the end.

Help will available on the day

Coffee, Tea, Biscuits and sweets will be provided after your run but why not bring along a picnic. The fire will be blazing and the indoor area is a great socialising space (with toilets!.. oh you are being spoiled)

Orange 8 controls 1.3km

Red 16 Controls 2.5 Km

Green 24 Controls 4.7km

Blue 32 Controls 6.3km

Difficulty rating 1/10 Buggy-friendly, paths only
