Trooperstown forest looks beautiful this time of year. There is parking close to the Start and Finish, 

• Contactless punching will be in use (except for the Start and Finish)
• Car pool if you can
• There will be refreshments available, but bring your own cup if you can.
• There is a choice of 8 courses (Brown, Blue, Green, Light Green, Short Green, Red, Orange and Yellow
• There are paths made by animals that are not mapped.
• Some cycle trails are not shown if parallel to earthbanks
• Not every rootstock has been mapped.
• What is important - courses close at 3pm and we lift controls at that time
• There will be some entry on the day but the numbers are limited to available maps.
• Entry closes on Friday at 11pm
• This event is ideal for those who want to try Orienteering for the first time. 
• If there is a lot of rainfall in the previous few days it will be wet underfoot.
• Dogs are welcome but should be under control. There are deer in the forest.
