Tiglin/Devil's Glen

Parking will be in the car park at the end of the surfaced road into the Devil's Glen forest. Parking is limited so please share transport as much as possible - single occupant cars may be asked to wait to share with other competitors. There will be entry on the day at €15 for adults, €10 for others, €30 for families (max 2 adults & 3 children). Portable toilets will be available, and the usual post-run tea, coffee, biscuits.

Remember that the clocks go back one hour on the night before this event. Courses will close at 3 pm. It is also the day of the Dublin Marathon, so there may be traffic restrictions if you're coming through or from Dublin city.

Preliminary course details:

Technical difficulty - Brown, Blue, Green, Short Green are difficult

Intermediate difficulty - Light Green, Red

Easy - Orange, Yellow

There will be a single start, about 700 metres from parking with 80 metres climb, but two finishes. The far finish (for the shorter/easier Yellow, Orange, Red and Light Green courses) is about 500 metres from parking/download/assembly; surprisingly, the near finish (Brown, Blue, Green and Short Green courses) is closer.

• 
  The event centre is at the Devil's Glen Waterfall car park which is very limited on spaces so please carpool where possible. Single occupant cars will be asked to park at the forest entrance off the R763 and walk or take a lift to the event. 
• The road to the event car park is paved but very narrow. Therefore, we ask all competitors to wait until after 12.30 before driving out of the event.
• The last start time is 13:00 and courses will close at 15:00
• For your safety, and that of the organising team, you will be required to carry a whistle in case of emergency on all but the Orange and Yellow courses.
• The main R763 road west and south of the event is out of bounds and is marked on the map as such - if you run on any section of this road you will be disqualified.
