Dublin by Night series. Pre entry at a reduced rate plus entry on the day. Start is inside the Knockmaroon Gate in the north west corner of the Park (location map here). Public transport will get you to about 1 km of the start. There will nopt be toilets available but we will have tea etc at assembly after your run. Maps will be printed on waterproof paper and SIAC contactless punching will be enabled. This is the first event of the 2025 Dublin by Night series. A headlamp is strongly advised. Safety notice: This event involves navigation across unknown and sometimes uneven terrain in the dark. Be careful crossing roads; do not approach the deer; courses will close at 8.15 pm so please return and download by this time even if you don't finish your course. Children should be accompanied by an adult and parents are responsible for the safe return of their children. The Long course will be about 6.5 km and the Short about 3.5 km. |
