A follow-on event from the Dublin parks series, with the same format - three courses of about 2, 4 and 6 km aimed at newcomers and improvers. The event will be centred near the Magazine Fort, inside the Islandbridge gate. Location map: https://osm.org/go/es~RVb5l?m= SI cards (timing chips) will be available for loan on the evening at no charge. 3ROC club members have free entry. There will be no toilets at the event - the nearest ones are Portaloos at the Papal Cross car park where last week's event was. There is reasonable public transport to the Phoenix Park - the closest bus to the competition area are the C6, C6 and 26 to the Chapelizod Road just past Islandbridge. SIAC contactless punching will be enabled. Maps will be printed on waterproof paper. Control descriptions will be on the map only. |
