This is the first Dublin by Night event of 2024.

Start times 6 pm to 7 pm, courses close 8 pm.

Approximate course lengths of 6.5 km and 3.5 km.

Please pre-enter if you can, so you can avail of the early bird rate and we can get you into he results system. There will be entry on the day at a higher rate.

Under-16's must be accompanied by an adult at all times on the course. While this may not be specified in the Rules of Orienteering, it is a stipulation we have made for safety reasons.

Public transport is not great and will require a walk: Dublin Bus route 37 towards Castleknock and walk 1.5 km; C5, C6 and 26 to Chapelizod and walk 2 km.

There are portable toilets available at the Papal Cross car park.

You will need a torch or a headlamp to take part in the event - the light from something like a mobile phone will not be enough.

Controls will have SIAC (contactless punching) enabled. Maps will be on waterproof paper at 1:7500 scale, with control descriptions in IOF symbols on the map.

Please keep clear of the deer in the park and be careful crossing any roads.
