Event registration and parking will be at St Colmcilles junior national school on Idrone avenue.  The courses won't cross any busy main roads but will navigate roads in the estate and runners are asked to show caution when crossing any road. Also runners are asked as always to show consideration for residents of the estate and avoid flower beds , peoples front gardens etc.

Course lengths:

Long - 5.9km
Medium - 3.8km
Short - 1.9km

General Notes:

• Please note the Long course does in fact cross the Knocklyon Road into neighbouring Beverly estate. As with all road crossings competitors must exercise extreme caution.
• There is significant vegetation growth but this can generally be avoied. Full leg cover recommended but not mandatory.

Technical Notes (don't worry if you don't understand these):

• SportIdent (SI) timing in use, but there is no SI Air enabled (if you're new and you don't know what that means don't worry).
• There are no loose control descriptions.
• Maps are printed on normal (ie not waterproof) paper. The forecast is dry so hopefully this won't be an issue. Scale is 1:5,000. Medium & Short are A4 size but Long is larger (smaller than A3).
