Inchydoney sand-hills . The dunes are looking completely different to when we last used them. Gone are the shallow areas of water, leaving the depressions very runnable. However the Bracken is at it's height, which has transformed the looks of the dunes, making it harder to read the depression. Another transformation is the effect of the rabbits, they have turned areas into snooker table smooth (but with plenty of pockets (burrows) so take it easy). On top of that it seems that the eastern edge is  getting bigger. All in all it give a more colourful map, with different challenges.

If the weather is good there are at least 2 coffee docks and a sauna (and possibly a creperie) on the seafront. Why not bring a blanket along and have a picnic, we'll keep an area to one side near the finish for picnickers. Due to the sandy conditions it is not suitable for buggies.

Parking  use the far west car park on the seafront at the opposite end of the road to the Inchydoney Lodge and Spa Hotel
