The next CorkO event will take place this Sunday April 2nd in Gougane Barra forest park.
This will be a family friendly orienteering event designed for summer league orienteers who want to practice ahead of our 2023 summer league kicking off in May. Beginners are welcome, there will be coaches available on the day to help you practice your orienteering skills. COURSE INFORMATION

Yellow 1.5km
Orange 2.8km Light Green 4.5km Blue 6.5km All courses are within the forest park. Some paths on the longer courses are very steep. The yellow course is suitable for buggies. All courses require crossing the internal forest roads.
START TIMES

Courses close and control collection will commence at 1:45pm
We have asked Coillte to open the entry barrier for the forest between 10.30 and 11.30 but we recommend that all motorists bring €5 in coins in case this can’t be facilitated.
