| Summary | Natural and planted forest with mixed runnability. There is steep ground in part of the map and areas of out of bounds. Good network of roads and paths. Not all the informal tracks are marked on the map. |

Parking is limited, please share transport if at all possible. Vans and other taller vehicles will not be able to enter the car park. Please contact the organisers for alternative parking arrangements if necessary. Car park entrance from South bound N11 only. Please bring a mug for beverage after. Please note any person wishing to bring a group email set@orienteering.ie before Wednesday 26th November, thank you. The forest is popular with local dog walkers. All courses will start & finish near the car park. The map scale is 1:7500 The Short course is at TD 1 level. Distance 1.8 km, 90 m of climb Medium course TD 3. Distance 3.1 km, 140 m of climb Long course TD 3. Distance 4.8 km, 170 m of climb |
