Parking at Carrigfoyle lake carpark with bus transfer to start/finish area at Pennylands. A bus shuttle will run from 10 to 2.30. The start is at Pennylands, about 6 minutes travel time but where there is virtually no parking. An extra fee is included for all competitors (with apologies). This will reduce the time and effort to and from the start/finish The Forth Mountain area has been newly mapped by Pat Healy and Andrew Cox in association with Shielbaggan OEC at a scale of 1 to 10,000 with 5m contour intervals. All recent horse and bike trails have been mapped where feasible. Colour coded Leinster league courses: Yellow 2.2 km; Orange 2.8 km ; Red 4.7 km; Light Green 3.9 km ; Green 4.9 km; Blue 6.6 km; Brown 8.2 km 200m climb. Add 33% for real course lengths. All courses on A4 map. Scale 1 to 7500 for all courses light green to yellow. Controls will not be SiAir enabled. Toilets and coffee dock available at Assembly area. No facilities at Start/Finish Registration tent at Pennylands. |
