Parking is just off the R115 on disused wasteland. Please park as directed, as parking is limited. If you can car share, that would be great. The area is a sloping hillside with detailed turf cutting features, water and bog features, and some tracks. Running is medium to slow in high heather. The terrain is not buggy friendly. The map will be printed on A4 waterproof paper and loose control descriptions will be available at registration. Portable toilets will be available. Courses are as follows

Yellow - 2.2km, 30m climb, 11 controls (navigation easy); Orange - 2.6km, 40m climb, 14 controls (navigation easy to moderate); Red - 3.2km, 50m climb, 13 controls (navigation easy to moderate); Light green - 3.1km, 50m climb, 11 controls (navigation moderate to hard); Green - 4.7km, 90m climb, 15 controls (navigation hard); Blue - 6.3km, 105m climb, 16 controls (navigation hard); Brown - 7.7km, 135m climb, 19 controls (navigation hard).

All courses cross the R115 to the start and finish. Also, the brown, blue, green and light green courses cross this same road twice during competition. Please give way to traffic at all times and take great care crossing this road. The traffic has right of way. If the weather is inclement, rain jackets may be compulsory. Please come prepared. Orienteering is an adventure sport and competitors take part at their own risk.
