4th and final event in the Munster urban league series. 

EVENT INFORMATION

There are three options for parking in the immediate vicinity of the start area:

Free, but small, and beside a playground, so might fill up quickly on a Sunday morning.

Barrier car park which seems to be associated with the multi-storey shopping centre car park 

opposite (which is another option).

The Aldi car park is nearest the start but is advertised as being for customers only. 

Publicly accessible toilets can be found at McDonalds less than 300m NW of the start area. 

A route analysis for the Long course (including some routes from the Medium course) will be available on the SEVO blog following the event. 

The Short course crosses no public roads, but it does take in some private ones. Long and Medium courses frequently cross public roads - please exercise caution. 

TECHNICAL INFORMATION

The map has not been updated since it was last used in 2024, but no significant changes have been found. Course lengths are actual length by optimum route. Loose descriptions will be available for all courses. 

There will be a short run in from the punch start to the start kite - this will not be taped. SI Air will not be active. 

Pedestrian crossings are shown in blue using a non-standard symbol 512.3-301 (https://omapwiki.orienteering.sport/symbols/512-3-area-passable-at-two-levels/ ). 

Please do not cross impassable symbols encountered in the terrain, even if unmapped gaps are found. There are no contours on the map, but all courses feature little climb (<1%) and climb will not be a deciding factor in route choice.
