Castlefreke Wood & The Long Strand sand-hills Parking in Coillte car park within the wood Cork Winter League & Family Day BROWN Course 10.5 km 25 controls map scale 1:10,000 BLUE Course 8.9 km 19 controls map scale 1:10,000 GREEN Course 6.0 km 19 controls map scale 1:7,500 LIGHT GREEN Course 17 controls 4.5 km map scale 1:5,000 RED Course 3.3km 15 controls map scale 1:5,000 ORANGE Course 3.0 km 12 controls map scale 1:5,000 YELLOW Course 1.6km 7 controls map scale 1:5,000 Yellow and Orange are on Forest Tracks and buggy friendly. Orange crosses a quiet road twice and has one control off track, along a 15m stream. Blue and Brown take in Castlefreke Sand Dunes ( the horses are back , eastern field fence is live. Treat other fences as live but when last tested they were dead. The land management is still developing a field by the main depression) T’s & C’s apply |
