BROWN course 8.4km 23 controls. Mainly Technical with two 1 Km legs. Some climb, Forest and Sand Dunes BLUE course 7.1km 22 controls. Mainly Technical with two 1 Km legs. Some climb, forest and Sand Dunes GREEN course 4.6km 16 controls . Technical mainly in fairly runnable forest but one short leg going through forest walk (unless the long route alternative is taken) LIGHT GREEN course 2.3km 13 controls. Technical with reduced climb, all in forest RED course 2.6km 12 controls. Knowledge of map reading is necessary. All controls are within 25m of a gravel path with one being 75m down a forest ride. ORANGE course 2.8km 19 Controls. Longer beginners course. Nearly all on off road gravel tracks. One control involves following a stream for 15m but if the buggy is left on the track it stays in sight. The course crosses a quiet road in 2 places so supervision is required YELLOW course 1.9km 13 Controls. Beginners course. All on off road gravel tracks which should make it buggy friendly however the course crosses a quiet road in 2 places so supervision is required. The main Car Park is adjacent to the castle, but there are two pull in areas by the forestry barriers that can also be used |
