Notes

As of the week of 16th February, the park area around Lough Muckno and the forest on Black Island are deemed to be in reasonable enough condition for orienteering, although a little wet underfoot. White Island will not be used due to continued flooding. There are still some fallen trees on Black Island, but controls will not be placed in these areas. Leg covering is recommended. The area continues to be monitored, and  more information will be provided in the days leading up to the event.

February 23rd: The planner and organiser are happy that conditions are ok for orienteering, but please be aware that there are fallen trees in the forest which are not on the map. The entrance toWhite Island continues to be flooded, but Black Island is fine.
