Parking is at the Wicklow Gap back carpark. Terrain is mainly rough open mountain with some forest area. There are some areas of slow, rough running. There will be limited entry on the day subject to map availability (pre-entered competitors take precedence) and there is a €2 surcharge for entry on the day competitors.
Notes: 1. The start/finish locations for the Yellow and Orange courses will be separate to the start/finish locations for the other courses. 2. For Juniors who are moving up to Light Green for the first time, shadowing may be advisable, as the courses traverse open mountainside. 3. Whistles are strongly advised, as the courses traverse open mountainside. 4. Cagoules or other appropriate raingear are strongly advised, as the courses traverse open mountainside, and weather conditions are un-predictable. 5. There will be no toilet facilities at the event. Please plan accordingly. |
