Cabinteely is one of the nicest parks in south Dublin and is perfect for people new to Orienteering. The start area will be in the first field as you enter the park coming from the top car park and coffee shop. Parking can be and in the event that the car park is full the best local estate road to park is a few hundred meters along Sycamore Avenue where it is possible to park without being near any residents driveways and this will take an extra 5 minutes or less.

Entry on the day is possible but we would appreciate if people could enter online as earlier as possible as that allows us to print the correct number of maps needed and to plan how many helpers we need.

There will be 3 courses. 

1. Short 1.3 K - This is for people new to orienteering or families with young children. It is mostly along the paths but also on some grass tracks. It is mostly buggy friendly but there are a couple of places where it would be difficult for a single person by them selves with a buggy.
2. Medium 2.6 K - This is aimed at people who have tried orienteering before and wish to try the next level up
3. Long 4.7 K - This is aimed at experienced orienteers.
