Event Organisers are required to complete a risk assessment for all club/NGB activities. Using the OI risk assessment template will help to identify the potential risks and list any mitigating measures taken.
All club/NGB activities have third party insurance cover, once they are registered as an OI event or fixture, or a club training session (approved by the club) and an appropriate risk assessment carried out.
However, most landowners will require a letter of indemnity. require on private or public land require an insurance indemnity for the landowner.
