Euro Champs sprint qualification: Nick and Roz to the A final!

The European Champs sprint qualification was held in Falun today. Ireland had four runners and both Nick and Roz made it into the A final. Nick qualified in 14th place in heat B with a good race and is happy to be in Saturday’s final. Roz took the last qualification place in heat C and was happy with a clean race. Niamh missed out in heat A by 16 seconds, and Dave was 29th in heat A.

Tomorrow sees the first final of the European Championships – the middle distance at Skattungbyn. There will be a lot of coverage of the A finals: GPS tracking, live results and even live TV coverage on the Swedish channel SVT.
