Controllers Course on Nov 16th in Kildare

A one-day Controllers Course is being held on Saturday 16 November in Newbridge Co. Kildare, and will run from 9.30am to 5.00pm .

It is being led by Graham Nilsen who was the author of the British Orienteering Course Planning book that was first published in 1995 and updated in 2006. Graham was Controller for Day 3 of JK 2011 at Slieve Croob, and was the leader of the IOA Planning Workshop in 2012.

The course will cover all aspects of controlling competitions of different grades and types, and will include a practical exercise on the nearby Curragh. The content of the course will be appropriate for both experienced Controllers and those new to controlling.

The course will be limited to 15 participants and places will be allocated on a first come first served basis. The subsidised cost of the course that will include the cost of lunch will be €25 and to book a place go to the event page on Eventbrite here.
