Fred along with his wife Pat & their family were stalwarts of the Cork Orienteering community assisting with the organising of numerous events in the 80’s & 90’s - from local events to Irish Championships & many of the Shamrock O-Ringens.  Their enthusiasm for the sport encouraged many beginners & families to commit to the fledgling sport of Orienteering at the time. 

Fred continued to orienteer & cycle right up to his early 90’s ! 

Our sincere condolences to his wife Pat and all the family.
