Thanks to all the GEN team for a super morning / afternoon in Trooperstown ... the sunshine was breath-taking (as was the climb!). While there were no mag north lines the map itself was aligned to M north (and had the 3.5deg var mentioned as well under GEN logo) so it worked well enough on the day. The print and paper quality was superb considering it's a busy enough map in terms of detail. Some decent route choice challenges thrown in too making it all the better. Great work guys.

Heyho, enjoyed my run today, despite deciding to inadvertently go direct fro 13 to15 on the brown. Lovely bits of forest, and an interesting course. Thanks!

(Let's remember the mag lines in the future 🙂 I'm going to blame them for my mishap. That was definitely the reason, yeah )

The north lines chose to wander off the map sometime during the print job, they made it to the yellow, orange and red course but then exited stage left.

Apologies if this resulted in any confusion.

The purple line between controls 13 - 14 was in attendance throughout the event and your failure to pay attention to this detail was the most likely cause of you misfortune.

With that said we are delighted that you enjoyed your run.

Thanks for the update on what happened the mag lines @Eoin. It was the first thing I noticed heading to control one on blue. Managed to orient north off the map border and legend outline (most of the time).
Do you want to name the printer so can double check if using that company in the future?
