Thanks for the observation. I think we can put it down to lack of awareness on the part of those putting the controls out. Courses approached the controls from different directions too.

On another point, control 237 was mislocated due to a difference between the course map and the map being used for putting out the controls. I checked with gps but we had agreed to move the control slightly due to the brambles in the area, hence the cutting of an extra track. Apologies if this caused any delay or frustration.

Thank you to all of you who travelled to the event on an emotional day for the club. It  was much appreciated by the Pim family and SEVO club.

750€ was collected in donations which the club will top up to  1200€ from entry fees, 600€ to each of the branches of the Irish Kidney association  in Kilkenny and Waterford. Thank to you all.

Thanks again to everyone in SEVO for a super event yesteday. I too wondered about the positioning of the SI units but having looked at the range of courses that creatively used all the viable planning corridors, many legs did approach from various directions, so some loss of flow was inevitable ... myself excepted as I went round in circles most of the time anyway 🙂

Responding here as webmaster on the issues experienced with the online entry form.

Some of the code was changed during the last week. Your browser typically 'remembers' (caches) some of the parts of code to make things faster. If it's remembering an old bit of code (which no longer works) that can cause issues. To get around this you can change browser or press Ctrl + R to 'refresh' the page.

If others experience issues please let me know? There's a lot of work to be done on that form but I gather it is making life easier for organisers....

I'm not sure I'll be able to make it work at the level Neil's describing... the idea is that you do scroll all the way down & read and agree to all the T&Cs - not just hit 'enter' after the card!

Please keep any feedback coming - it's much appreciated!
