I had that issue too, fill in the credit card details, press return... nothing...

... but there's another page of boxes to tick if you scroll down, and a button to click to pay. Don't press return earlier!!
Was trying Chrome and Hanging up, had worked fine for previous events.

Tried Edge and went through no issues.

Had that hang issue too. Seemed to happen while sending card details to bank but bank never received them.
Tried it again the next day and worked fine.
As it's an Orienteering Ireland built online entry & payment facility, might be something to look at for the webmaster.

One query in relation to today, and the 3 of us commented on it. The deliberate place of some of the SI units so that the codes were facing away from the incoming runner. Why?

It really hampered the flow through a control, to both punch and see what the code is. While I don't use a SIAC, it wouldn't surpise me if it contributed to a mispunch.
