A reminder that online entries for Saturday's night-O close on Friday. The link to enter is HERE.

There will be two courses of about 3 and 6 km. Start times are from 6 to 7 pm and courses will close at 8 pm. We will be operating from beside the Furry Glen car park in the north west corner of the Park. See location map here.

The courses are aimed at fairly experienced orienteers and are not suitable for unaccompanied juniors. You will need a headlamp or a good torch - it's dark in the Park at night. Online entries are €8/€5. Tea and biscuits will be served after your run. We will have some shelter but we won't have an indoor assembly area.

There will be limited entry on the night, depending on the availability of maps, at €10/€6 so please enter online in advance.

Controls will be SIAC contactless and maps will be premarked, on waterproof paper. Control descriptions will be only on the maps and only in IOF symbols.

We have been promised that the toilets at the Biodiversity Centre beside the start/finish will be opened for us.

Thanks to the OPW for permission to stage the event.

The results, split times and Routegadget are now online here. Please take a minute to upload or draw your routes for what was a cold run on a great starlit night.

Thanks to everyone who came and to the small team of helpers.

The next 3ROC Night-O will be a night sprint in St Patrick's College, Drumcondra, in two weeks, on Saturday 28th January. The next night-O is at Roundwood Reservoir on Saturday 21st January.
