3ROC hope to run three Tuesday evening events as usual in the Phoenix Park in August. However this will depend on the Covid situation and also on obtaining permission from the Office of Public Works.

Currently the OPW are not allowing any organised activities in the Phoenix Park and are awaiting further instructions from Government.

If the events can go ahead they will be on Tuesday 10th, 17th and 24th August. Pre-entry will be required, via the IOA website, and there may be a restriction on numbers. If they are going ahead, the information will be on the IOA Fixtures list at www.orienteering.ie.

Yes, Ivan, good news! We have just got the go-ahead from the OPW for these three events in the Phoenix Park. We are getting the permits organised at the moment and the details will be on the IOA Fixtures list in a couple of days.

A reminder that entries for this Tuesday's Phoenix Park evening event close at midnight on Sunday 8th August. Entries are online only on the IOA website here.

Surprisingly there are only 18 entries as of 10 pm on Saturday night. There are three courses of about 2, 4 and 6 km, so get those shoes on and come out for a run in the Park!
