SI boxes
For those who do not normally attend BOC event please be aware that BOC will be using SI boxes suspended from the control kite. With this system it is possible to insert the SI card into either end of the SI box. The SI card will only register a time if it is inserted into the SI box from the front. If you insert your SI card into the rear of the SI box your SI card will not register a time nor will the SI box register that your SI card was inserted which will result in a DNF when you finish.
The procedure to be followed when using these boxes is as follows Hold the SI box, at its wider base end, in one hand and insert the SI card through the front of the box.. You will be able to see both the LED light and the control box number if you follow this procedure correctly.
