Reminder- a week to go before entries close for the 2024 Leinster Orienteering Champs. The courses are planned on a new updated map and should provide a nice fresh challenge for us all. Don’t forget to enter!

LOC Results:

I have uploaded the results for LOC, but a word of warning. They are displayed incorrectly on OI. They are grouped by a combination of class and course instead of by class only. The webmaster has been informed. !

Splitsbrowser groups them correctly and Route gadget works ok too.

Thanks to all who turned out today and enjoyed the good weather early in the day.

Thanks to my GEN clubmates, particularly Brian/Brenda/Mary and Marcus for a challenging LOC today - full-scale championship grade challenge on our doorstep in Wicklow. Huge amount of work on the map (Pat) and by everyone else - much appreciated!

Indeed Gavan. Agree with all.

My body is a bit broke today. It was challenging and (and ankle twists aside) I thoroughly enjoyed it. Also felt smug with wearing a head torch in some of the woods. Headtorch was not an on the day decision. I routinely wear it for every forest event.
