Dear all,

I am pleased to announce that Cork Orienteering Club will be returning to the Sheep's Head Peninsula to host the Irish Orienteering Championships on the May Bank Holiday weekend in 2026.

In accordance with Orienteering Ireland rules, this area will be embargoed for orienteering and training from now until the end of the competition.

More specifically, the boundaries of the embargoed area include The Black Gate to the southwest and Glanlough to the northeast, as in the attached image.
