Is this the second event to be held here? I missed the first one on 1 November 1969, because I was sick, but I did get to collect a few control flags there a week later with Mum. Devestated to miss the second one! I see that the Rath Curtis Moat (No. 14 on the original course) was out of bounds this time.

The old map on the website (link) was from 1984 so I think it's the 3rd. I didn't know about the 1969 one!

Thanks Paul. Well I missed the 2nd event in 1984 because that was on a Thursday. But a look back at TIO reveals I was at event #3 in 1985 - placed 17th in 85:20, behind the winner, Ted Russell who did 70:30. The 1969 course setter Niall Rice was 4th, and the TIO editor JMcC was 5th.
